Trouser Manufacturer in Turkey: Fit and Pattern
Trouser manufacturing requires a fit decision across the waist, seat, rise and leg, not just a waist size. Textile Manufacture coordinates trouser development and production with partner workshops around the selected construction and material.
Do not solve every fit issue by changing size
A sample may fit at the waist yet pull across the seat when the wearer sits. Choosing a larger size can add room, but it can also make the waistband and leg proportions different from the design. Record the restriction and the relevant measurements before deciding which change to make.
Review front and back views, pocket behaviour and the waistband position during movement. A pocket that opens unexpectedly may be a useful observation, but the photograph alone does not establish the cause. Give the pattern developer the full fit context rather than an isolated instruction to close the pocket.
Keep garment and body measurements separate. The buyer’s size label, the wearer’s measurements and the finished trouser dimensions are different references. Define how waist, rise and inseam are measured so a later sample can be compared consistently. When a fabric changes, review the fit again where its behaviour affects the result.
Define the block
Specify high, mid or low rise, relaxed or fitted seat, leg shape and length. Record waist, hip, front/back rise, thigh, knee, opening and inseam using a consistent measurement method. Clarify whether measurements refer to the garment or body.
Detail the construction
Choose waistband structure, closure, belt loops, pocket bags, darts, pleats and hem. A woven fabric and a stretch knit require different allowances and often different machinery. Identify wash or garment-dye plans early if relevant.
Sample before size expansion
Review fit while standing and sitting, then note changes by measurement. Approve the base pattern before grading. Check edge sizes so the range preserves the intended proportion rather than merely changing every dimension uniformly.
Share the intended silhouette, fabric and base-size information. If a sample exists, describe where it works and where movement or proportions need attention. Discuss your trouser fit and production needs.
